Sunday School

Jesus And Me (JAM) at Stanton Road

Our Sunday School / JAM group meets part way through the morning service. We aim to help the children to understand God's love for them, and to encourage them to feel a part of the church family.

There are different groups for ages from 0 to 18 at present, and these are led by a group of leaders, some who teach, some who help with activities.

The group meets together for a time of singing and prayer, followed by moving into their groups for Bible stories and activities. We mainly use Scripture Union material, and strive at all times to ensure that the application is relevant and stimulating.

The Sunday School / JAM group regularly contributes during the morning service and we are constantly looking at ways to encourage their creative abilities in both drama and music.

The Sunday School / JAM group aims to show God's love through its teaching, activities and caring environment. The children are allowed to grow and mature at their own pace, whilst being encouraged to think and act like disciples of God.

Following Government guidelines we are pleased to inform you that we are now holding a church service at Stanton Road on Sunday's at 10.30 am.

The church is set out to comply with social distancing requirements, the chairs and tables are regularly sanitised, and we provide hand sanitisers.

Attendees are required to wear facial coverings and we are not able to enjoy sung worship. However, we play songs and hymns via You Tube, and hear God's word being read and preached.

We also broadcast our services via Zoom and then post them to this website.

If you would like to join us either in person or via Zoom, please contact Neil Barker on  to book your place.
