Data Privacy Notice

 

Under Data Protection legislation, the church leaders of Stanton Road Baptist Churchan Fellowship are the Data Controller and they have appointed Andrew Meadows as the Privacy Officer.

 We are collecting this information to enable the church to keep in touch with you and provide pastoral support as appropriate. Data Protection legislation allows us to process this information as we regard it as being in the church’s legitimate interest.

Your name and contact details will be entered into our church database which is held on the church OneDrive. It is password protected and accessed only by the Church Leaders. Your contact details will be removed from the database upon your request to do so.

We would like to include your name and contact details in our Church Directory which will be distributed in hard copy form to all those who have given consent to be included. A copy will also be kept in the church office. We will not give copies of the Church Directory to anyone else. We would also like to include and publish your name in rotas for any groups or activities in which you may become involved.

If you are happy for your details to be included, please check the details and sign and return the form below. You can ask for your details to be removed at any time from our database and excluded from all future publications.

To enable us to provide adequate pastoral support to you and your family, the Minister(s) may record information which may be regarded as sensitive. This information will be stored either on the church computer (in encrypted protected documents with the key only known by the Minister(s)), or in hard copy form in a secure locked location. This information will NOT be disclosed to anyone else without your consent.

You have the right to ask to see any information we hold about you (including the pastoral support information) by submitting a ‘Subject Access Request’ to the Church Leaders. You also have the right to ask for information which you believe to be incorrect to be rectified.

If you are concerned about the way your information is being handled please speak to our Privacy Officer. If you are still unhappy you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioners Office.

If you are a regular attendee of the church and wish to be included then copies of the form are available from the leaders.

Following Government guidelines we are pleased to inform you that we are now holding a church service at Stanton Road on Sunday's at 10.30 am.

The church is set out to comply with social distancing requirements, the chairs and tables are regularly sanitised, and we provide hand sanitisers.

We are usually singing and/or playing songs and hymns live or via You Tube, and hear God's word being read and preached.

We also stream our service live on our YouTube channel and are available there afterwards in case you missed it live . Please be aware that we record this stream so joining the meeting authorises your involvement in the recording.
