On Wednesday morning from 10-12 noon the Stanton Road hall buzzes with a happy crowd. We serve hot and cold drinks, buttered teacakes and biscuits.
But the fun comes from the groups who are engaged in a range of activities.
Craft - needlework and knitting with a keen group who love to share their skills and experience
Chat- one of the popular groups is for simple friendship. It’s great.
Prayer- a group meet to pray between 10:15 and 11 am.
There is also a coffee morning once a month in a home near Hadrian Christian Fellowship so if you wish to come along then please fee free to contact us for details.
Thursday lunchtime is very popular- up to 45 diners (mostly retired) come along to Stanton Road for a good two-course dinner for a very reasonable price. Spaces are limited, and we often have a WAITING LIST for people wanting to attend.
The food’s great and so is the company!
Lunches at Christmas and occasions like the Queen's Diamond Jubilee get special treatment.
Seniors Tea and Songs of Praise
Three or four times a year we invite everyone for a “Tea and Songs of Praise” from 4pm on a Sunday afternoon at our Stanton Road location.
